Linux Certification Programs

There are number of certification programs for Linux .

  • Linux Professional Institute Certification

Linux Professional Institute Certification
The Linux Professional Institute currently has two levels of certification, Junior Level Linux Professional (LPIC-1)
and Advanced Level Linux Professional (LPIC-2) .

SAIR Linux and GNU Certification

Has the following level of certifications :
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Master Linux Certified Engineer (MLCE)

Red Hat Certification

There are two levels of certification offered by Red Hat; RHCT (Red Hat Certified Technician) and RHCE (Red Hat
Certified Engineer). The RHCE is the more advanced certification.

CompTIA Linux+ is a vendor-neutral certification, generic across distributions, that validates the knowledge of
individuals with a minimum of six to twelve months of practical Linux experience.
